Creamy Tomato Pasta with Sausage

a burst of flavor in every bite!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb pasta

  • 3 tbsp of butter

  • Olive oil

  • 1/2lb Italian sausage

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 3 cloves minced garlic

  • 4 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1.5 cups of heavy cream

  • 3 cups baby spinach

  • 3/4 cup of Parm cheese

  • Salt, pepper, garlic/ onion powder, paprika, parsley

  • Basil

Recipe:

1. First, cook 1/2 a lb of pasta in salted water until al dente.

2. Then, add 2tbsp of butter & a dash of olive oil to a pan on medium heat. Add 1 diced onion and 3 cloves minced garlic.  Season with salt and let cook for a few minutes.

3. Add in 8oz ground Italian sausage to a pan and season with salt, pepper, onion/ garlic powder, paprika and basil. Cook until browned.

5. Mix in 4 tbsp of tomato paste and mix into the sausage.

6. Add 1 cup of heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Then add another 1/2 cup of heavy cream along with the same seasonings used for the sausage.

7. Add 3/4 cup of Parm cheese with a dash of pasta water.

8. Mix until combined then add a handful of fresh basil and extra Parm!
