Creamy Lemon Pasta with Shrimp
1. First, cook 1/2 lb of pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
2. Next, we are going to season 1/2 lb of raw, deveined shrimp. I did paprika, salt, pepper, and onion/ garlic powder. Drizzle with a little olive oil and mix together.
3. Then, add 3 tbsp of butter and a dash of olive oil to a pan on medium heat. Once the butter is melted, add your seasoned shrimp and cook on both sides. About 2 mins per side.
4. Remove the shrimp from the pan and add 3 cloves of minced garlic. Cook until fragrant then add a dash of white wine to deglaze the pan.
5. After, add 1.5 cups of heavy cream. Mix well then season with the same seasonings used on the shrimp.
6. Bring to a simmer then add your cooked pasta, a dash of pasta water, your cooked shrimp, 1/2 cup of parm and some red pepper flakes.
7. Mix this all together, adding pasta water as needed. Top with more parm and enjoy!!
